Frosted Gingerbread Pop-Tarts, an Honest Review
Everyone’s favorite purveyor of toaster pastries is bringing holiday cheer to a grocery store near you with the new Pop-Tarts Frosted Gingerbread flavor. They’re covered in cute pictures and the box claims that you can build a gingerbread house out of them—but are they really good enough to leave out for Santa?

Frosted Gingerbread Pop-TartsPop-Tarts that are good enough to replace the walls of your gingerbread house are here, and unlike gingerbread cookies, these won’t cost you your teeth. The filling is a little gummier than other Pop-Tarts, but that just means there’s more mush to love. The gingerbread flavoring is present, but not overpowering, which is a big plus for me (I’m not particularly fond of gingerbread cookies). These Frosted Gingerbread Pop-Tarts are definitely an improvement on the previously unfrosted gingerbread iteration. The frosting here, as with any Pop-Tart, improves the eating experience by leaps and bounds. Even as someone who doesn’t love gingerbread cookies, I’m willing to give these a passing grade.
