Marisia Burton Missing: Florida Teen Found Alive After Disappearance
Yesterday, Marisia Burton, a 19-year-old from Orlando, Florida, was found alive after being reported missing on December 22nd.
Her disappearance was considered unusual by those close to her, and a missing person’s flyer was shared on social media by Grammy-nominated gospel artist James Fortune on December 30th.
Fortune’s post stated that Burton’s cellphone was going straight to voice mail, $4,000 in savings had been wiped out, and all of her social media accounts had been deleted.
Investigators believe she may have been a victim of s*x trafficking.

Marisia Burton is a 19-year-old girl from Houston, Texas who lived in Central Florida prior to her disappearance on December 22.
According to her sister’s social media post, Burton is described as 5’6 weighing approximately 130 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.
Burton was reported missing on December 22 and was recently found alive. It is not yet clear where Burton was found or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Marisia Burton had been living in Orlando since January 2022 as part of the Disney College Program.
Her last known location was near her residence in Flamingo Crossings East, an apartment community affiliated with the Disney program.
